FAQ

1. What is virtual mental health counseling?

Virtual counseling (also known as teletherapy or online therapy) is mental health support delivered through secure video or phone sessions. It allows you to connect with licensed therapists from the comfort and privacy of your own home.

2. Who are your therapists?

Our therapists are licensed mental health professionals (LMHC) with diverse backgrounds and specialties. Each therapist undergoes rigorous vetting and ongoing training to ensure high-quality care.

3. What issues do you need help with?

We offer support for a wide range of concerns, including:

  • Anxiety and depression

  • Stress and burnout

  • Trauma and PTSD

  • Relationship and family issues

  • Grief and loss

  • Life transitions

  • Self-esteem and identity

  • And more

4. How do I schedule my first appointment?

6. Is virtual therapy as effective as in-person therapy?

Yes. Research shows that virtual therapy can be just as effective as in-person sessions for many mental health concerns. Many clients find it more convenient, accessible, and flexible for their schedules.

All you need is a smartphone, tablet, or computer with a camera and an internet connection. Sessions are conducted on secure, HIPAA-compliant platforms to protect your privacy.

Sessions typically last 45–60 minutes. Frequency depends on your individual needs—some clients attend weekly, while others may choose biweekly or monthly sessions.

10. Can I switch therapists if it’s not a good fit?

Of course. A strong therapeutic relationship is key. If you feel like your therapist isn't the right match, just let us know, and we’ll help you transition to someone else who may be a better fit.
